The Youth Museum serves young people of all ages as a learning resource. It is a source of cultural identity and provides a sense of history through its programs, exhibitions, publications and outreach activities.

The Children's Museum/Mountain Momestead hosts classes, workshops, and fund raisers.

The Museum is open 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

General Directions: From I-77 use exit 44, then east of Route 3 about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Ewart Avenue. Go one mile.

From Robert C. Byrd Drive, turn onto Ewart Avenue at Southern States. Follow Ewart for half a mile. Museum is on the left.

Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia has a Gift Shop , hosts School Tours and hosts Special Events .

There is a fee to visit Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia.
