Annual Conference

Our largest event of the year is our annual conference, which involves a lot of planning and effort! This event brings together members from across the state to learn from museum professionals and non-profit experts. Learn more about our annual conference.

Member Support

WVAM carries out its mission by listening to its members, serving their interests, and keeping the members informed of current standards and activities on a national scale. Operational Costs

WVAM is made up of volunteer staff and an AmeriCorps. A general donation will go towards annual memberships to large associations that give us access to benefits we can share with our members, paying for newsletter publications, website costs, and other operational fees.

Workshops and Webinars

In addition to the annual conference in the spring, WVAM hosts a Fall Workshop Series. Your support goes towards expanding this program to offer speakers and workshops relevant to what our members need.

Kroger Community Rewards

Want an easy way to support WVAM? Consider signing up for Kroger Rewards! If you already have a Kroger card, simply sign in to your digital account and select West Virginia Association of Museums from the list of local organizations.
